
EJ
Ouellette is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, composer, performer,
producer and teacher. He is the creator of Crazy Maggy's fiddle-driven
sound, and also serves as the band's principle vocalist. EJ is also
known to sling a guitar.
EJ
produced the sound track for Sandra Bullock's film, "Religion,
Inc.," and recorded and played on Rounder Records Sleepy LaBeef's
recordings, "Nothing But the Truth," and "Strange Things
Happening." He also produced Susan Tedeschi (vocals) with Ron Levi
(B.B.King) on Orville Giddings "Enhance Your Smile" CD. Ouellette
has shared the stage with many artists including Chuck Berry, Leon Russell,
Sleepy LaBeef, Shirley Lewis, The Chieftains, Silly Wizard, Harvest
Home, Stockton's Wing, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Charlie Daniels,
Vassar Clements, the late Barry Cowsill, Jeff Onore, Gary Shane and
more.
In
addition to creating, recording and performing, EJ owns and operates
Pine Island Music, a music school and recording studio on the North
Shore of Massachusetts.
